This tour is designed as a relaxed and well-paced introduction to Sri Lanka,

Airport / Colombo → Sigiriya → Kandy → Nuwara Eliya → Ella → Colombo / Airport

🟢 Day 1 – Airport / Colombo → Sigiriya

After arriving in Sri Lanka, you will be met by your private driver and
travel towards the Cultural Triangle. Depending on your arrival time,
you may enjoy scenic countryside views and short stops along the way.
This day is mainly for rest and adjusting after your flight.

Climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
known for its ancient frescoes, water gardens, and panoramic views from
the summit. Later, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, featuring beautifully
preserved Buddhist murals and statues inside a series of cave shrines.
Enjoy the peaceful village atmosphere in the evening.

Travel through lush landscapes to the cultural capital of Sri Lanka.
En route, you may visit a traditional spice garden to learn about
Sri Lanka’s world-famous spices. In Kandy, explore the city and visit the
sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most important religious
sites in the country.

Journey into the cool hill country, passing rolling tea plantations,
misty mountains, and waterfalls. Stop at a tea factory to see how
world-famous Ceylon Tea is produced and enjoy a tasting session.
Explore Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England” for its colonial-era
architecture and pleasant climate.

Optionally enjoy one of the world’s most scenic train rides to Ella
(subject to availability). Visit the stunning Nine Arches Bridge, an
engineering marvel set amidst lush greenery. Relax in the laid-back town
of Ella, popular for cafés and mountain views.

Start the day with a hike to Little Adam’s Peak, offering breathtaking
views of the surrounding valleys and tea fields. The rest of the day is
free to relax, explore Ella town, or enjoy nature at your own pace.

🟢 Day 8 – Ella → Colombo / Airport

Travel back to Colombo through scenic landscapes. Depending on your
departure time, enjoy a short Colombo city tour or shopping before being
dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
